Planting

Today I planted about 10 beetroot seeds, as it is getting warmer and I noticed a few beetroots doing quite well in the community garden. I've put a few in a pot, to see if that helps.

Many of the seedlings in the plot are not getting much bigger, they seem to all be about 1 cm tall and staying that size, even if I put a little cover over the top of them. I think perhaps they're just not getting enough warmth. And I haven't had to water them once in 6 weeks due to all this rain, so many have died. Even the fungus in our plot has gone green, so that means we have moss on top of fungus, ah!

I've put a bit of worm juice on them to see what happens, not too much though as I didn't want to fry them. I've watered it down 1 part worm juice to 10 parts water.

As are the chick peas. Only a few weeks old and growing like crazy. Lucky we like hummus.
